Beast Carpet Cleaning D Reserves - Season Wrap Up
Even though the season ended in a disappointing fashion the D Reserves had a great season. Finishing second was a good result from a mostly young team that averaged 8 changes a week. More than 16 graduating colts played in the side and one of the highlights was seeing their growth throughout the year.
A season doesn’t get done without help, and a big thanks to Life member and club legend John Davies who managed the team every Saturday. Handling all the game day administration. Captain Ben Pedulla lead the side brilliantly all season, your leadership has been invaluable this year to a young team. Through every challenge and success, you have shown resilience, responsibility, and a genuine commitment to the team, and I am grateful for everything you have contributed as captain.
In my first year as coach, Glen Hinkley provided a wealth of support, encouragement, advice, and friendship. The amount of work he does for all the lower grade sides is phenomenal, massive thank you, I couldn’t have survived with you.
Lastly, the side can’t take the field without help. Enormous thanks to team sponsor Beast Carpet Cleaning & Craig Darcy who has been a big supporter of the players and me all year.
