TERMITES OR ANTS???
We see photos like this every day — customers asking, “Is this termites or ants?” This one is ant frass: sawdust-like debris mixed with insect parts.

We understand how worrying this can feel. Our team focuses on identifying the ant species and their behaviour first — because correct identification is essential for a successful, lasting treatment. Here’s how we help:

- Thorough inspection:
we search around the frass — window frames, wall cavities, roofs and sub-floors — to locate the activity and understand how the ants are moving through your home.

- Targeted treatments:
we use non-repellent products that foraging ants carry back to the nest, so the queen and entire colony are eliminated, not just the visible workers. For nests that are hard to access, we deploy specialised solutions tailored to the species involved.

- Expert advice:
we explain what we find and why we recommend a particular treatment, so you know what to expect and how to prevent future problems.

Most important:
if you see piles of wood dust, don’t spray them with store‑bought aerosol — that can drive the colony deeper into walls and make the problem worse. Leave the area undisturbed and call us. One of our Laguna ant specialists will come out, identify the species, and take care of it properly.

🐝 Laguna Rescue Honey: Saving Bees, One Hive at a Time! 🐝

We’ve been busy over the Easter break extracting golden honey from our rescued beehives!

The process is rewarding: carefully removing the frames from the hive, then gently separating the pure liquid honey from the beeswax comb. Every drop comes from hives we’ve saved and relocated.

We absolutely love rescuing bees and keeping them alive. As a special thank you, we’ll be dropping off some of this beautiful rescue honey to a few of our valued customers over the coming weeks.

Just a heads-up: We don’t sell our rescue honey and we don’t make any money from it. It’s purely a passion project from our team who care deeply about protecting these incredible pollinators.

🐰Happy Easter from the Laguna Pest Control crew!

After dodging rain the past few months, wrangling hyperactive termites, outsmarting cockroaches, and adapting to new rodent rules, we’re finally clocking off to eat too much chocolate and spend time with family (yes, we’ll try not to peek at the work phone… too often).

We’re closed today and Easter Monday, back Tuesday and ready to tackle whatever pest chaos the coast throws at us.

Have a safe, chocolate-packed Easter with zero uninvited guests (unless it’s the Easter Bunny). 🐣🐰
