✨ Tips for keeping your home clean between sessions;
~ Due to my wait times (often) and clients telling me these type of posts were helpful, here’s some advice/tips. Because if you’re investing in a 3-4 house clean from me, you want to keep it looking good/worth while for longer. Just like getting your hair done? 😘
•Invest in a stick vacuum- yes an expensive investment but worth it. You are more likely to quickly grab the stick vacuum to do a quick vacuum than lug around the power cord vacuum. If it isn’t easy we ain’t likely to do it, right? 🔌
• Keep your cleaning products in the shower- showers are so much easier to clean whilst your in there with the water, so whilst your in there getting wet anyhow grab the brush and spray that’s already there and give it a whirl! 💪🏻
• Pick one small thing to do each day- doing little tasks each day before bed for example feels less of a chore than doing a full day worth of cleaning when it’s been so long! Pick a small task, achieve it, then sleep (or is my brain wired differently?) 😉
• Declutter surfaces- the less things I/you have to work around on every shelf to dust it, the easier and quicker it is plus more time to spend doing extra and other tasks. I often use the ‘hide it’ method putting items away in a drawer or cupboard if it’s not essential to be out on display (then you message me where it is 😅).
• Rinse your dishes and stack them aside- It’s okay if you don’t get to your dishes everyday but if you have them rinsed and stacked aside out of your sink (or try a wash bucket?) your kitchen feels less messy and then they also wash easier once rinsed too. 😮💨
• Walk around with a dry cleaning cloth - As you notice something, give it a quick wipe down and keep going. For example shelves, skirting boards, the bathroom sink. Then chuck the cloth straight in the wash! 🧺
