First time I did this beast it had a 6.5” lift & if memory serves me correctly it was running 37’s.
Now it has been maxed out with a 9” lift, full billet bracing & running 40’s.

Last pic is for comparison to my D40 which has a 2.5” lift. 😁

I’m 6 foot 1 so that puts me just above level with the roof of the Navara. I feel like I’m 5 foot nothing next to the Chev. 😂

Paint Correction & Protection - 2025 Isuzu D-Max

This rig had a full seats out detail about a month ago to get rid of the beach sand that had built up & taken over the interior (courtesy of being the equipment vehicle for an off road company).

Today was all about the outside.

✔️ snow foam pre soak & brush detail
✔️ pH neutral hand wash & pressure rinse
✔️ iron & fallout removal, clay bar & pressure rinse
✔️ 2-stage correction
✔️ Magnum Ceramics Luminous X borophene ceramic coating applied (10H rating/10 yr warranty)

Full Detail - Isuzu D-Max

Full vacuum of floors & seats
Hard surfaces & trims brush & steam cleaned
Trims, dash & console UV treated
Pre treat, steam clean & shampoo extraction of roof lining & seats (driver seat couldn’t be saved)
Glass cleaned & cabin deodorised

Engine Bay detailed

Pressure rinse & snow foam pre soak
pH neutral hand wash & pressure rinse
Paint decon, rinse & plush towel dry

Removed decals & residual glue
2-stage correction on heavily oxidised paint (bonnet & roof were the worst for wear)
Magnum Ceramics Luminous X borophene ceramic coating applied

A bit of paint correction on a few heavy scratches on a regular clients Toyota Prado that I detailed last week.

Dry sanded - 1000, 2000 & 3000 grit
Cut using Lake Country heavy cut pad & Menzerna heavy cut compound on a rotary machine
Then switched to the DA machine with a Lake Country medium cut pad & Menzerna medium cut compound
Then a Lake Country polishing pad with Menzerna Super Finish polish compound
Finished with Lake Country finishing pad & Menzerna Polymer finishing compound
Then a dual layer of Magnum Luminous X borophene ceramic coating

This Prado gets used the way it should so keeping the scratches off it is impossible but keeping their visibility to a minimum isn’t.

A lot of vacuuming, drill brushing & extraction work went into this interior.
Exterior was standard issue.

But this interior is now a better place to be with an interstate road trip coming up. 👍
