Why Roof Linings Sag

Roof linings don’t sag randomly — it usually happens when heat, age, and too much moisture break down the glue and foam behind the fabric.

Steam cleaning or soaking the roof lining can:

• Weaken the adhesive
• Destroy the foam backing
• Cause sagging now or months later

That’s why we only use low-moisture cleaning on headliners.

Once sagging starts, cleaning won’t fix it — relining is the only proper repair.
