Tip No.6: With Christmas just a couple of weeks away, I thought I’d share a favourite Christmas recipe instead of a cleaning tip.

🎄Homemade shortbread 🎅🏻

375g plain flour
250g butter (softened and cut into small pieces)
125g castor sugar (sifted)

Rub butter into sugar and flour (by hand or by using a dough hook attachment on mixer). Knead well on a lightly floured board. Roll out into about 1cm thickness, cut into shapes and bake in a preheated 180 degree or 160 degree fan forced oven for 10-15 mins. Sprinkle with castor sugar once cooked, leave to cool and enjoy!
