Hey everyone here is an awesome shot of ants taking to some ant gel at my place funny enough. As you can see by the small gap in the mortar the ants are coming in and out of they don't need much room to invade your home this can also be the case for termites invading your home.

Today we were out at Tynong doing a colony control for termites destroying a shed. We test drilled 3 separate trees and found nests in all 3 😲 for reference this hole is 12mm it shows how small termites are they don't need much of a gap to enter your house.

We are currently on holiday in the nice and warm state of Queensland. I couldn't help myself but hunt for some termites at Currumbin zoo :) here we have some beautiful mud leads on a tree and also a very lazy kangaroo taking in the sun :) we will be back on the road in cold Melbourne on the 17th.

I have enrolled myself in a termite course as such I needed to find on the job experience so for the past few weeks I have been linking up with Stuart who owns Eliminator Pest Control in Pakenham he has alot of experience in termites so it has been wonderful to learn from him. Today he invited me to a termite inspection in carrum downs. When we arrived we found lots of dead termites around a window frame so the hunt began to find if they where anywhere else in the house. I do have to say crawling through a roof void looking for more evidence is a lot more tricky than looking for rodent droppings 😂 all in all it was a fun experience with lots more to learn here's some fun photos we took today. - Scott
