Just a quick FYI for everybody..... As of 1st May, 2026 we will be permanently based out of Gloucester. The move positions us more centrally to service our growing rural customer base, especially west of the highway, within the MCC LGA. It also give the more remote communities a much needed local resource that hasn't been reliably available for sometime.

Please don't hesitate to give me a call on 0411 087 558 if you need a hand with anything pool related.

See you on the pool deck......

Well March has come and gone in a rush! Finishing off lots of ongoing jobs over summer and then all the usual day to day stuff that goes with maintaining pools and spa. The pallet of dead pumps and chlorinators will give you an idea of that.

Night shift at the Shangri-La Hotel in Sydney doing media changes on the pool filters... 1.6t of sand in 20kg bags up 5 floors and then another 1.6t down 5 floors!

As we move into April and we go back our winter servicing schedules and its time to consolidate what I've built in the last 2.5 years and prepare to take the next steps in growing business into next season.

See you on the pool deck!

Hmmm.... I think we have a leak! When its dry, sometimes it easy to spot you have a problem. Split pipe hard up again the external wall of the pool. A bit of digging and work with the grinder and cold chisel had the crack exposed and repaired.

A customer was struggling with removing and refitting the old solid foam swimspa cover and was talking about sending it to the tip, as it was rarely being used. So we swapped in a new roll on/roll off cover and swing away storage brackets and all of a sudden the swimspa has a new lease on life!

As the summer rush starts to ease I have some time to update what's been a very busy summer season. All the usual pool problems, regular cleans and so much more have kept me on my toes over January and February. I will add a couple extra posts for some of the more complex jobs shortly.....

Well the last couple of days have been interesting.

These are some of the pics of the fires at my brothers place in Crawford River. The house and shed have been saved by good prep, the rfs and aerial crews. The fire came down the hill on Friday night and up the hill on Saturday night. Oh so close to losing the lot!

November has been extremely busy with lots of installs and problem solving work happening. Plunge pools, chlorinator replacements, lights, robots and hand rails being the flavour of the month.

With Xmas coming up, it's just gets busier from here.... See you on the pool deck!

October has been an odd month... Very busy compared to the last 2 seasons, but not very photogenic for a social media post like this. Lots of variety as usual, leaks to fix, still cleaning up flood effected pools from back in May, equipment failures, problem solving/rectifying other people's installs, another above ground pool coping replacement and all manner of other stuff to keep me occupied. November looks like more of the same, but hopefully with more interesting pics.... See you on the pool deck!

Well it isn't always beer & skittles maintaining pools....

X marks the spot of a $1000.00 water bill! 6 hours of concrete cutting and digging revealed a 35+ year old broken joint due to ground movement loading the pipe over time. A couple new elbows and pipe later, the leak is fixed and the pool back up and running. I'll leave everything exposed for a couple of days and mark the water in the pool to check for any further water loss, it can then be backfilled and the pavers put back down.
