Meet Joel 👋

Next up is Joel, one of the friendliest faces in the APC crew and our go-to guy for pre-construction termite protection.

With around 10 years of experience in the industry, Joel knows the pre-con side of pest control inside and out. From new builds through to larger construction projects, he makes sure everything is installed properly, neatly and exactly where it needs to be.

Joel brings plenty of experience, a great attitude and is always easy to have around on site.
If Joel’s on the pre-con job, you know it’s going to be Mickey Mouse 👌

A huge part of the APC team and someone we’re very lucky to have with us.

Meet Adrian 👋

Adrian came to APC looking for a change of lifestyle and a completely new career. Pest control probably isn’t the first thing most people think of when they’re considering a career change, but Adrian gave it a go and has never looked back.

He’s been with us since the earlier days and has developed a genuine passion for the industry. Adrian enjoys a challenge, takes on new opportunities and is always keen to keep learning and improving.

He’s also been a huge help with our interstate work, committing his time and effort to helping me take on opportunities outside our usual service areas.

Adrian has become a really important part of the APC team, and we’re lucky to have him.

Meet Laura 👋

Next up is Laura, my first real admin employee and someone who has been there through a huge part of APC’s growth.

When Laura came on board, it was a massive step for the business. For the first time, I had someone helping answer the phones, book jobs, organise the days and keep everything moving while I could focus on growing APC.

And somehow, she stuck with me through it all 😂
Laura has played a massive part in helping take APC to the next level and turn it into the business it is today. A lot of what happens behind the scenes simply wouldn’t run the same without her.

A huge part of the APC story and an even bigger part of the team. Thanks for everything, Laura! 💚

Meet Brandon 👋

Next up is Brandon Howard, one of our longest-standing team members and a huge part of Affordable Pest Control.

Brandon has been with us for years and has become a true asset to the business, as well as a genuine friend along the way.

He’s our go-to man when it comes to termite management and termite protection, with loads of experience installing protection systems and helping keep homes safe from termite attack.

Reliable, knowledgeable and always willing to get the job done properly, Brandon is a big part of what makes our team what it is today.

Thanks for everything you bring to APC, Brandon! 🐜🏠

Meet the family behind Affordable Pest Control 👋
Before we introduce the rest of our team, we thought we’d start with the family behind APC.

From left to right:
Tayla Konzen | Michael Konzen | Shane Konzen

Michael has been working in pest control since the 1990s, with Affordable Pest Control starting in the early 2000s as a weekend job on the side.
What started small slowly grew through word of mouth, hard work and plenty of long days into the business APC is today.

Shane joined the business in 2011 and later took over the reins, continuing to grow the company while keeping it family owned and locally operated.

Tayla works behind the scenes helping keep the team, admin and day-to-day operations running smoothly.
Over the next few days, we’ll be introducing the rest of the APC crew one by one, so you can get to know the people behind the business.

Family owned. Locally operated. Built from the ground up.

Got a wasp problem? Here’s how we handle it safely. 🐝 Wasps can be aggressive when disturbed, which is why we always approach slowly and with care. Our fast-acting treatment neutralises the nest within seconds. Remember, this isn’t a DIY job—without the right gear and experience, things can go wrong quickly. Best to leave this one to the professionals!

Fleas may be small, but they can create a massive headache for you and your pets. 🐾 They reproduce quickly, and before you know it, your home is overrun. We focus on treating floors, carpets, and pet zones to eliminate their safe havens. Remember, a full clean before our visit is essential to ensure the treatment works effectively. Let’s break the flea lifecycle together, the right way, the first time.

Before the pests, there’s the prep! 🚪✨ Our team kicks off each day bright and early with gear checks and a touch of banter. This is how we ensure you're protected with professionalism and a smile.

Another gutter guard installation completed! 🍂🏠

Adrian and Brandon have done a fantastic job installing this quality gutter guard system, helping keep leaves, debris, birds and unwanted pests out of the gutters.

A neat finish and another home better protected—great work, boys! 👏
