Big machines just make life easier.

You walk in with a mountain of washing and think, how did that even happen. Towels breeding in the cupboard. Sheets tying themselves in knots. A week’s worth of “I’ll do it tomorrow.”

You send them out looking fresh as a daisy. Next thing they’re covered in mystery marks and grinning like they’ve achieved something. And honestly, they probably have.

You can be sitting there, minding your own business, and somehow the sauce does a flying leap straight onto your lap. It’s like it’s trained for it. Doesn’t matter how careful you are. One slurp and boom. You’re wearing dinner.

Our machines at The Self Serve Laundry Co are happy to work with whatever you pour in. They’re big, powerful, and not emotionally attached to any particular brand. Just don’t go tipping in half the bottle like you’re marinating a roast. A little goes a long way.

You put two in the wash. You get one back. It’s like they’ve got plans you’re not invited to. One minute they’re a happy couple. Next minute, it’s a solo career.

You look away for a second and suddenly there’s yoghurt on a shirt, mystery marks on the shorts, and someone’s decided socks are optional but mud isn’t. Meanwhile you’re just sitting there thinking, “How did it escalate this quickly?”

Laundry doesn’t get smaller if you stare at it.

You can sit there, hands on your head, wondering how two people created fourteen socks and a towel that weighs the same as a small elephant. Or you can bring it somewhere that actually makes sense.

Ice cream and clean clothes don’t mix.

You send them out looking fresh as a sea breeze in Nelson Bay. Five minutes later they’ve redecorated themselves in choc swirl and sticky fingerprints. It’s like the cone explodes in slow motion and somehow the shirt cops it every time.

That’s alright. Let them enjoy it. Let them be messy. We’ve got the clean-up part sorted.
