🐍 When your pool service comes with a little extra sssupervision! 😂

Well… Gary had a little extra help on the job today!

Rocked up to the pool service this morning and Gary found himself a new apprentice perched on the chlorinator! 👀

This little fella wasn’t going anywhere — he sat there supervising Gary’s every move and making sure the job was done properly. 😂

Gary reckons he’s never worked under such strict management! 🤣

Performance review pending… 🐍😂

Just another day at Dunckers — you never quite know who you’re going to meet on a pool service! 💦🔧

Somerset Dam views vs. Monday reality 😂

A HUGE thank you to our amazing team Gary, Chris and Tony for holding the fort and looking after the shop for the past two weeks while we’ve been enjoying a little family time! ❤️

You’ve done such a fantastic job keeping everything running, looking after our customers 🙌

So, everyone, give the team a shout-out in the comments because they absolutely deserve it! 👏👏👏

We’re back to it on Monday… so go easy on us! 😂 It’s going to be a little hard waking up to anything other than this view every morning! 🏞️☀️

Back to reality we go! 😩😂

Thanks again, team — you’re absolute legends! ❤️

🍦🍦

Someone may have forgotten to organise a birthday cake for the first-born… otherwise known as the second favourite child. 😂

We won’t mention any names… Barry. 🤦‍♀️😂

But it’s absolutely fine because I wandered into Kilcoy Candy with possibly the vaguest cake request ever:

“I just want an ice cream cake that tastes amazing… but she can’t have this, or that… but she CAN have this and that…” 😂

And somehow, they absolutely NAILED IT! 🙌🍰

They created the most delicious-looking, amazing ice cream cake — and it was exactly what we needed, with absolutely no complaints from me! ❤️

Once again, thank you Kilcoy Candy for saving the day and making Tanya’s birthday extra special! 🥰🍦

🎉 Happy Birthday Tanya! 🎉

Love from all the family…
and of course, the favourite child. 😜❤️

🍦❤️ A little Kilcoy gem! ❤️🍦

Every year we head out on our annual family holiday to beautiful Somerset Dam, and while we’re there, we always love popping into Kilcoy to support the wonderful local businesses. 🥰

This year we discovered Kilcoy Candy … and OH MY! 😍🍦

We don’t have favourites here at Dunckers… BUT this place could definitely come close! 😂

The food is absolutely delicious, the atmosphere is fantastic, and the owners are genuinely amazing — welcoming us with the kindest smiles and making the whole experience even better. ❤️

It’s little local businesses like this that make visiting our communities so special. We absolutely love discovering these hidden gems and supporting the people who make them great!

Thank you, kilcoy candy, for the delicious treats and wonderful hospitality. 🍦❤️

Although… we may need to start sending the Dunckers truck into visit every month when we’re doing our Kilcoy deliveries just to pick up some ice cream! 😂😉🚚🍦

Highly recommend giving them a visit! 👏❤️

Last night, I had the absolute pleasure of attending the Marty Hunt Above & Beyond Awards — and what a special night it was! ✨

I was incredibly proud to be there supporting two amazing women who both deserved their moment in the spotlight.

💫 My daughter Mia, who was so incredibly privileged to be named the Younger Achiever Award winner. Watching her be recognised for her hard work, dedication and commitment was one very proud Mum moment. ❤️

💫 And Ash, the incredible local business owner behind Aerialcatz & — an absolute legend of a human who gives so much to her community and the people around her.

But what really stood out to me was sitting in a room surrounded by so many incredible people, passionate business owners, community leaders and locals who are all doing their bit to make our community a better place.

It was such a wonderful reminder of just how lucky we are to live and work in a community that supports, celebrates and lifts each other up. 🫶

As a local small business, we know firsthand how important that support is. Every local purchase, recommendation, referral and kind word makes a difference.

So here’s to supporting local, celebrating small business and backing the amazing people who make our community what it is. ❤️

Congratulations to everyone who was nominated, recognised and celebrated last night. You should all be incredibly proud!

Shout out to just a few of the names I saw and recognised at supporting us as well. All cast plunge pools, Lawn Espresso, Megan the realestate mum. And soo many more.

Community is stronger when we support each other. 🌟
