Riley Turnbull Go Fund Me
Most of you who know Riley know him as a kind and caring young man. In early 2024 at age 18, Riley was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney failure and by November he had deteriorated in front of our eyes to end stage renal failure.
Riley started his life saving peritoneal dialysis and up until recently it had been working.
In April 2025, Riley travelled to Adelaide to get prepared to start haemodialysis via a chest port as the peritoneal dialysis was not working well enough. He recently received the life saving call for a kidney transplant and underwent the life saving transplant surgery.
This has been a life saving and positive outcome but unfortunately there have been some unexpected challenges following the transplant.
This means Riley has had to stay in Adelaide for an extended period of time, far away from his family, friends and his beloved puppy Lacey. Riley has been unable to work since early this year and unfortunately due to his recovery and unexpected challenges, the road to recovery and length of time before he can return to work remains uncertain.
Riley has a strong support network back home. By rallying together to help Riley from being away from home, raising some funds to go towards his day to day, medical and travel expenses will help make his life that little bit easier, one less stress to deal with.
