Over the past few years I've not been taking on any resto or re-trim projects but somehow this one slipped through and I really enjoyed it.

It's the bench seat from an International Scout and whilst discussing the build with the client and hearing the plans he had for the vehicle I realised the old wobbly springs weren't going to cut it so we decided to build it up from scratch. The use of layering different densities of foam provides a supportive base for sturdy side wings and smooth clean lines not possible with a spring seat.

When the owner popped by with the Can-Am Spyder from our recent seat re-trim, we took the opportunity to get a few shots of the full bike. Although it looks great against the silver, the purple stitch was actually chosen to match an upcoming full vinyl wrap! We can't wait to see the completed look!

During this hot weather we've been fixing LOTS of car roof linings. It's a common problem in many makes and models that can be distracting when driving and possibly illegal. We keep common materials in stock and even some exchange roofs ready to go for a quick turn around.

Another motorbike seat gets the wider, lower, softer treatment. This is a very popular modification to increase the comfort on longer rides. On this seat the customer chose to change the colour to black and add some grip with "Allsport Hi-tac" medium grip vinyl.

This decision has been made to allow me to focus on the elements of my work that I really love, and ensure I can continue to produce high quality work and keep my completion dates within reasonable timeframes for my clients.

Welcome 2023!
Its been a big 12 months and I'm currently enjoying some time off over the Christmas break but will be back to business this week.
