Agri Storage & Logistics Agri Storage & Logistics is a company you need to know!

Why? …Because of experience

In 2006 Peter Hobday started providing storage and logistics services to farmers. Peter was previously manager of a major storage organisation and managed twenty one sites plus a number of commercial entities for fifteen years to which he passionately oversaw and managed a large team of people. He personally engaged with farmers and managers to provide the services that were required to manage their harvest. He also broke tradition by supplying tarps and extra services in some areas to help the farmers cope in their high production seasons with success. Peters knowledge of the storage, handling, blending and fumigation of all cereal grains and pulses plus the capability to logistically combining all these key components’ to maintain the total integrity of grain is second to none.

Sun's out, headers out!

After what felt like an eternity of wet weather, the sunshine is back, the temperatures are climbing and the headers are finally getting back onto the paddocks.

It's been a frustrating couple of weeks for plenty of growers around Moree and the North West, but hopefully the warmer weather gives everyone a decent opportunity to get stuck into harvest.

We're looking forward to seeing more grain making its way through our Moree site over the coming weeks.

Here's hoping the weather holds out and everyone gets a good run at it!

How's your crop holding up after all that rain?

We've had a pretty decent soaking across the region over the past couple of weeks, and with harvest getting closer, we're curious to hear how everyone's paddocks are looking.

For some, the extra moisture might have been just what the crop needed to finish off nicely. For others, it might have caused a few headaches with waterlogged paddocks, lodging or delayed harvest plans.

Now that we've finally had a bit of sunshine, hopefully things are starting to dry out.

So, how are things looking on your place?

Let us know in the comments. We'd love to hear how everyone's crops are shaping up ahead of harvest.

Well, that's enough rain for a little while!

After what felt like a week of non-stop rain, it's good to finally see a bit of sunshine breaking through.

For growers around Moree and across the North West, the next few days will hopefully give the paddocks a chance to dry out and get things back on track ahead of harvest.

There's still plenty of moisture about, but with a bit of sunshine and some warmer weather, it won't be long before the headers are rolling and grain starts making its way off the paddocks.

Here's hoping the weather gives everyone a decent run from here on out.

A bit of rain about lately!

Last week was a wet one, and with more rain on the forecast, it's going to be an interesting lead-up to harvest.

For some growers, this might be just what the crops need to finish off nicely. For others, it's probably the last thing they want to see right now!

That's farming, though. The same rain that's a blessing for one grower can be a bloody nuisance for another.

And to our grower friends further north around Emerald, Yamala and Mt McLaren, with harvest largely behind you, hopefully you can enjoy a bit of moisture and a well-earned break.

Here's hoping the weather plays nicely for everyone heading into harvest over the coming weeks.

A bit of rain isn't going to stop the containers moving!

It might not be ideal weather, but the work still needs to get done.

Another busy day shifting containers, with a big thanks to the team at South East Queensland Hauliers for helping keep things moving despite the wet conditions.

At Agri Storage, we’re always looking for ways to help growers get the most out of their grain.

CGX provides an open and secure marketplace where buyers, sellers and their agents can bid and offer grain at their own prices, creating greater transparency and more opportunities for growers

The worst time to start working out where your grain is going is after the truck is loaded.

Prices move. Buyers change. Different grades have different options — and during harvest things can change pretty bloody quickly.

That’s why we’re keeping growers updated with current buyer prices and receival information throughout the season.

Keep an eye on our updates, stay on the grain price SMS list and, if you’re unsure about your options, give the Agri Storage team a call before the truck leaves the paddock.

A five-minute conversation beforehand can save a fair bit of stuffing around later.

First load of faba beans for 2026!

And just like that, we’re underway! Our first load of faba beans for the 2026 harvest coming into Agri Storage & Logistics.

Always a good sight seeing the first grain hit the tarp here’s to a safe and successful harvest season ahead for all our growers, truck drivers and team.

While harvest is already in full swing further north, Moree’s turn isn’t far away.

And by this point, most of the big pre-harvest jobs should either be sorted or very close to it.

Tarps checked. Storage ready. Fumigation done. Receival options organised.

If something is still sitting on the list, now’s the time to get onto it — because once the headers start moving, finding time to sort the jobs you meant to do beforehand gets a whole lot harder.

Need a hand getting ready? Give the Agri Storage team a call.
