We provide high-performance civil and utility infrastructure backed by 40+ years of expertise and a commitment to quality. Smith Contracting maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) that is third party accredited as compliant with AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008. We also have an Environmental Management System accredited to ISO 14001:015, and our Safety Management System is accredited to ISO 45001:2018. Civil Contracting and underground utility construction is vastly different today compared to 1969, when Robert Smith started out as a plumbing apprentice in Geelong Victoria. Smith Contracting have adapted to the changes in the Water Industry and are market leaders in the timely and on-budget provision of quality underground utilities, delivered safely and with minimal impact on the community and surrounding environment

We're pleased to have been selected by Creek Connect (the Jacobs Solutions Inc. / Seymour Whyte joint venture) to deliver the Cosgroves Creek Stage 1 Pressure Main Pipeline package, as part of Sydney Water's Upper South Creek Networks Program.

This project delivers essential wastewater infrastructure across Western Sydney’s growth corridor, servicing key precincts including Luddenham, Northern Gateway, parts of the Agribusiness Precinct, Dwyers Road, and Sydney Science Park.

Works are underway in the Luddenham and Badgerys Creek area, with works including over 3.2 km of dual pressure main installation via open trenching and complex horizontal directional drilling.

Thank you to CreekConnect and Sydney Water for the opportunity to contribute to this vital regional infrastructure program. We look forward to delivering a safe, high-quality outcome for the community and our project partners through to completion in mid-2027.
