Power Outage Today

Apologies to anyone that got caught up in our power outage today where the shop could not open until early afternoon.

Unfortunately, we had someone plug in a Kettle and Air fryer to our power point shorting our circuits causing several hundred dollars in damages along the way and resulting in the shop not being open this morning.

Also, an apology to our customers that use the PowerPoint regularly when in our laundromat:
• we have had to turn it off until we work on an alternative measure, we just can’t disappoint our customers by not being open and there were a few complaints today although those that I managed to talk to very understanding and supportive.
• We also know it gets a lot of use for people in the community charging phones and laptops as its intended use during power outages as we offer it to those who are not our customers at the time.
Unfortunately like most things is the action/selfishness of one that ruins it for all, for the perpetrator we have:
• your photo,
• video footage and
• your registration
• and the fingers and fists you gave our cameras
However, we have decently decided not to publish your image publicly or report to the police or seek reimbursement for damages at this stage.
