Mirboo North Playgroup & Toy Library Mirboo North Playgroup. Tuesdays & Thursdays 9:30am - 11:30am. St Mary’s Anglican Church, Hall. We meet on Thursdays to socialise and play together.

Playgroup is an informal session where mums, dads, grandparents, guardians, carers, children and babies meet together in a relaxed environment. We have lots of great fun and education activities for kids 5 and under. At the moment we are meeting at Saint Mary's Anglican Church 114 Ridgway, Mirboo North. Playgroup is run by a voluntary committee. For day to day running, this is a “hands on” playgro

up. This means that all members are required to help out on the days that they attend playgroup to ensure that it runs smoothly and that children (and parents/carers) get the most of the their experience. Jobs (such as unpacking the toy shed, or, supervising hand washing) are assigned to each member who attends a playgroup session when they sign-in for the day (an insurance requirement). Please note that attending members will sometimes be required to help out more than their assigned job, for example, when playgroup is very busy with a special event occurring, or conversely when the session is quiet and there are insufficient members in attendance to cover all necessary jobs. How do I Join? - Simply arrive at Playgroup and you will be given a welcome pack. The first three visits are free to new families. What do I Bring? – Drink and morning tea for you and your child, and weather appropriate clothing. A Few Rules – Hats and sunscreen are essential in the warmer months. Hand washing: children must wash their hands (this is supervised by an adult) before morning tea. Children should be supervised at all times but don’t forget to socialise yourself and have fun!

🌸🐻 Teddy Bear Picnic – Mother’s Day Special 🐻🌸

Join us at playgroup Tuesday & Thursday morning this week for a sweet Teddy Bear Picnic to celebrate Mother’s Day.

We’ll have some yummy goodies for morning tea, plus a few cute props set up for anyone who’d like to snap some special photos of their little ones with their mum, grandma, Aunty or special person 💕
If you’re able, please bring a plate to share—we always appreciate it! And byo teddy to cuddle too.

We can’t wait to see you there! 🧺🐻

Also, a quick reminder that we’re a little behind on memberships, so we kindly ask families to get signed up as soon as possible.

Looking for a warm, friendly place for little ones to play and parents/carers to connect?

Our community playgroup runs Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30–11:30am, welcoming children from birth to 5 years.

There are plenty of toys, games and play equipment to keep the kids busy, plus a warm heated indoor space(perfect for those chilly mornings) where you can enjoy a cuppa and a chat.

We also have a safe, fenced outdoor play area that can be enjoyed rain or shine — we even supply puddle suits so the kids can still get outside and explore.

The group is community and member run, so it’s relaxed, welcoming and shaped by the families who come along.

First 3 sessions are free, so feel free to drop in and see if it’s a good fit for you and your little one.

We’ve been a bit quiet lately thanks to a few pesky bugs doing the rounds, but we’re back and ready to finish the year with a smile!
Tomorrow is our LAST playgroup for the year, and we’re making it a fun one! We’ll be at our local Baromi Park for a special end-of-year playgroup picnic.
Bring along a plate to share, your picnic rug, and your happy selves as we celebrate the end of 2025 together. It’s the perfect chance to relax, let the kids play, and enjoy some good food and great company.
We’d absolutely love to see you there, let’s end the year on a high!
