We love getting creative with our children, and seeing them explore through play is very rewarding.

They get to learn, connect with others, and have fun in a caring and supportive environment.

From colourful craft activities and beading, to imaginative sensory play with ocean animals and space creations, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

And the great news is that we have spaces available and would love for you to join us.

Our Monday and Tuesday playgroups are looking for more parents, carers and kids to join in the fun.

It's a fantastic opportunity for adults to connect over a cuppa and morning tea, while the kids enjoy new activities, learn new skills and make new friends. Best of all, it's completely free!

We meet every Monday from 10am - 11.30am at Birriwa Community Hall in Mount Annan.

We meet every Tuesday from 10am - 11.30am at 4-6 Surrey St, Minto.

Are you a parent or carer of a child living with a disability or chronic illness?

If so, we are here for you. We offer a space where you can unwind, relax and chat by attending our free MyTime groups. 💜

Recently, our Currans Hill group created their own calming bottles. A simple tool that can bring a moment of peace during a busy day. Watching the glitter swirl and settle can support stress relief, grounding and a sense of calm.

We meet on Tuesdays from 10:00 to 12:00 at Currans Hill Community Hall, and we'd love for you to join us.

Our Playgroups and MyTime groups provide a space for connection and a moment of respite. A safe place to share stories, unwind, have a laugh, and simply 'be' with like-minded women.

✨ Lunchbox ideas for Term 2 ✨

As a local charity, we are dedicated to supporting families with children and young people aged 0–24 through tailored services, including family work, counselling, and parent support groups.

With Term 2 just around the corner, we know school mornings can feel busy and a little overwhelming, especially for mums with school-aged children. To help make things easier, we’re sharing some fresh, healthy lunchbox ideas to keep mornings organised and stress-free.

A simple way to build a balanced lunchbox is to pick one option from each core food group and mix it up each day:

🍎 Fruit - fresh, frozen, puréed, or canned in natural juice
🥕 Vegetables, legumes and beans
🥛 Milk, yoghurt, cheese and alternatives
🍗 Lean proteins such as meats, poultry, fish, eggs, tofu, nuts, seeds, legumes/beans
🍞 Grain (cereal) foods
💧 Plain water. Always the best choice for hydration

This easy pick-and-mix approach helps create nutritious, tasty lunchboxes that kids will enjoy—and parents can feel good about.

Small changes can make a big difference for busy families. 💛

💛 Supporting Safe Futures: Escape Bags Now Available 💛

We are proud to announce that we are one of 2,000 stockists across Australia providing Escape Bags to individuals and families escaping domestic and family abuse.

These bags are thoughtfully designed to offer comfort, dignity, and immediate support during incredibly difficult times. Helping people in need to take those first steps toward safety and a new beginning.

💛 Playgroup Harmony 💛

This week, our playgroup is celebrating Harmony Day, a special time to recognise and honour the wonderful diversity within our group.

Our families bring such a rich mix of cultures, languages, and traditions, and Harmony Day is a beautiful opportunity to celebrate the strong sense of belonging we’ve created together.

We enjoyed completing a bright and meaningful Harmony Day craft, highlighting connection, culture, and community.

With just one more session before our Easter break, we’re excited to finish the term with something colourful and memorable. 🌈

Our playgroups are free, filled with fun activities for the kids, and a great opportunity for you to unwind, meet new friends, and feel supported.

✨ Our Family & Kids Connect Playgroups ✨

Our playgroups have been busy lately, with lots of creative fun happening! 🎨

Last week, our families and little ones had a wonderful time making their very own lions to take home. It was a roar-some effort from everyone involved! 😂

Craft is always a favourite at playgroup. It’s such a special way for children and parents to connect through art, while also supporting the development of fine motor skills in a fun and engaging environment.

Our sessions are FREE, filled with fun activities for the kids, and a great opportunity for you to unwind, meet new friends, and feel supported.
