🧺✨ A Little Laundry Mix-Up ✨🧺

We’ve had a small mystery at The Laundromat… someone has accidentally taken home the wrong mattress protector while doing their washing. They even kindly put it through the dryer - so we know it was an honest mistake!

If you were doing a bunch of sheets around 1 pm today (Tuesday) and you’ve suddenly found yourself with an extra protector, please get in touch so we can reunite it with its owner.

We’ve added a photo to help jog memories.

One of our customers mistook their load of washing with someone else’s!
The load was in the dryer on the FAR LEFT BOTTOM DRYER - number 2.

Black pants, shirts and shorts -all work clothes.

The owner is wonderful and needs these clothes for work so if you picked your washing up in a hurry and haven’t yet folded them, you might have her clothes!

UPDATE: Trolly was found and is back safe and sound! Thank you to everyone who got the word out and especially to the wonderful person who found it and returned it!

To the lady with the grey jacket and blue bag and lovely dog who walked past the laundromat this evening and STOLE our trolly.

We saw on the CCTV that you admired the size, frame and the lock on the wheel.
You have a great eye. However it’s ours and not yours. It helps our customers do their laundry and we would like it back.

Please return it.

UPDATE🧦🧦🧦🧦

So happy to report that with a bit of detective work and some kind people’s help, we figured out who it was that found the money.
We have reached out and have our fingers and toes crossed that they will get back to us.

In an even better news story, a VERY kind and generous local man ran into the lady outside of the laundromat, saw she was distressed and walked over to the ATM and handed her $250 cash of his no questions asked.
We know who this generous soul is so if we get the money back, we’ll be handing it straight back to him.
He believes very much in karma and I know he would hope that everyone who reads this feel the effects of his.

Hi Community!

A lovely customer dropped $250 in $50 dollar notes right here this evening while doing her washing and is devastated as it was money she had worked all weekend for.

We managed to figure out from the security cameras when she dropped it (5:50pm)
We are putting out an appeal to the two gentleman that picked it up just after 7:00pm when collecting their clothing from the dryer and hoping that they will get in touch for it’s safe return back to her 🧦
