Choosing flooring? Here are the most common mistakes we see and how to avoid them ....

Mistake 1) Assuming all vinyl is the same
Answer👉 The quality of Vinyl Planks differ hugely in thickness, wear layrr and feeling under foot. Cheaer options sound hollow & wear faster.

Mistake 2) Ignoring the subfloor
Answer 👉 Even the best vinyl needs a properly prepared subfloor. Skipping this step can lead to movement, noise and visible imperfections.

Mistake 3) Not considering movement with timber floors.
Answer👉 Timber is a natural product and there for expands & contracts. Choosing the right species,acclimation and installation method is key to a flawless finish.

Mistake 5) Choosing a high gloss finish for busy homes.
Answer 👉 Matte & satin finishes hide scratches & wear better whilst giving that high end timeless look.

Mistake 6) Cutting corners on underlay.
Answer👉 Premium underlay improves comfort, insulation, acoustics & extends the life of tour new carpet.

Another beautiful install finished, and a big shout-out to our carpet layer Matt, who absolutely nailed this one 👏

This staircase was finished with a bullnose detail on the final step, giving it a clean, seamless look and that extra touch of craftsmanship that really elevates the space.

We love how the texture and colour soften the area while still feeling practical and timeless.
