Although, rodents are with us all year round.🐀

If there were such a thing as a 'Rodent Dentist', they would be permanently busy.

Rodent teeth are continually growing - particularly the four main incisor teeth because they don't have roots. 🦷

The enamel of the incisor is harder than the dentine at the back. This causes the incisors to wear down unevenly and create a sharp edge, in total rodents have 16 teeth.

They need to constantly chew to stop the incisors from overgrowing, so they will chew on wood, plastic, food and anything else to keep their teeth at a manageable length, even through concrete.🌳

The picture shows a raised pathway that the rats have chewed through to access an above-ground paved area and food sources. They are living beneath the walkway. The tip of the boot indicates the size of the hole. 🐀
