Your responsibilities will include providing PREMIUM cleaning services (as you are the best at what you do!):

- Mould removal
- Grime removal
- Vacuuming
- Dusting
- Mopping
- Cleaning toilets, removing stains, and old debris
- Tidying bedrooms

As a professional cleaner required skills are:

- Minimum 2 + years of cleaning experience (residential or commercial)
- Take pride in helping clients have clean homes
- Strong communication skills: Ask questions if unsure.
- Hard-working and quick.
- Willingness to maintain confidentiality

You’ll be required to follow all Covid-19 requirements as outlined to ensure a Covid-safe workplace.

Essentials:

- MUST be willing to obtain or have a current Police Check.
- Current Public Liability insurance policy certificate.
- IDEALLY, YOU HAVE YOUR OWN CLEANING EQUIPMENT which is

Housekeeper and House Assistant Wanted

Monday – Friday 9am – 12noon

$35-$50 an hour depending on skill level and professional experience

Family in Melbourne’s Inner North West are seeking a professional and experienced housekeeper to undertake laundry, light cleaning, running errands etc.

Must be willing to take on instruction in a positive and proactive manner until tasks are completed to the standard of the household.

Attributes
• Ability to take instruction and adapt the task until it is successful
• Positive Attitude: Take tasks onboard with a positive outlook
• Professional: Focus on the job and refrain from discussing personal matters
• A high level of personal hygiene and grooming
• Sound English- written and verbal

1. AMAZING IRONER!
2. Whiz in the laundry - can fold quickly and efficiently
3. Tidy - Learn where things go and put them in the right spot.
4. Organised – manage your time and workload
5. Communication – Manage “up” – not be afraid to make suggestions
6. Efficient! Fast paced family and are looking for someone who works in with our momentum

Experience
Minimum of 3 years residential housekeeping experience (not commercial)

Will accept cleaning - but you need to be able to demonstrate STRONG housekeeping skills

Food Handling certificate and understanding of food hygiene HIGHLY regarded

Requirements
1. Must be Australian citizen or permanent resident
2. Must have own ABN and insurance
3. Own car and driver’s license
4. Current police check
5. Current working with children’s check
6. Two professional references - phone numbers (Residential housekeeping references are highly regarded)
7. NOTE: We have a clean inside dog, she is a large breed, you need to be OK with dogs (she is very friendly)

Task examples
Clean Kitchen
Wipe cupboards, chairs etc
Vacuum
Tidy house
Manage washing (laundry)
Folding done and put away
Ironing done
Mop downstairs (1-2 times a week)
Errands: Post Office, grocery shopping, get quotes in window cleaners, dry cleaners etc
Sorting cupboards
Light cleaning (i.e dusting, wiping front of cupboards etc)
