What you’re seeing here is the shampooing and agitation stage of the cleaning process.

The rotating brushes help loosen years of embedded dirt, dust, oils, pet contamination and other debris trapped deep within the pile of the rug.

Whilst it might look aggressive, this process is carefully selected based on the rug’s fibre type, construction and condition.

The goal isn’t to scrub the rug.

The goal is to release the contamination hiding deep within the fibres so it can be properly removed during the wash process.

In many cases, the dirt trapped inside a rug causes more long term damage than the cleaning process itself.
