This parking space, located in an apartment building basement, was being used by tenants that were renting an apartment in the complex. As their vehicle was quite old, it unfortunately left a lot of oil stains on the concrete floor in the parking space.

Like many rental properties, when it was time for them to move out, the tenants needed to ensure the concrete was fully clean and back to the original state it was when they moved in.

Cleaning oil stains like this from concrete floors can be challenging, and the correct process needs to be used the first time, otherwise the staining can be made worse, permanently affecting the substrate.

Luckily for the tenants, they called in our team to take care of the oil stain removal.

When treating oil stains, our technicians apply a special 3 stage cleaning solution that is formulated to break down the oil and draw it out of the cement. After a suitable dwell time, the concrete is pressure washed using hot water that is delivered through a spin-jet unit with a vacuum recovery system attached.

This process gives excellent results in dealing with tough oil stains on concrete floors, and like the example shown here, the cement can usually be restored to its original state.

This rendered wall was suffering badly from heavy stains as a result of run-off from the garden and debris from plants.

The owners of the property had attempted to clean the wall using regular household products, but had little success in removing any of the stains.

Using a blend of our specialist cleaning solutions, our team treated the stains before washing the wall using hot water pressure cleaning.

The cleaning solution softened the stain substance, without causing any damage to the render finish, and the hot water from the pressure cleaning process works exceptionally well in rinsing away the dirt and grime.

The end result is a clean rendered wall that has been restored back to its original condition.
