Mazda Car Club Of Australia Early in 1968 a group of enthusiastic Mazda owners got together to discuss their mutual interest in their (then) very new and stylish Mazda 1500 cars.

Join our enthusiastic Melbourne-based sporting club to share social and motoring events, and more! These initial meetings and discussions culminated in the creation of The Mazda Car Club of Australia (The MCCA) in May 1968. Its aims were simply for members to enjoy their sh

ared interests in their car, to organise social , sporting, and technically informative events. Those original aims are just as valid today, and with all the enthusiasm and dedication of those initial few members, we've seen MCCA grow and prosper in its offering of enjoyment in sporting and social activities to members, either run directly by the club or in conjunction with invitations from other like-minded clubs and associations. If you enjoy your car and driving, if you enjoy good company, friendly discussions on all sorts of motoring matters, and having a good time, then the MCCA could be just the thing for you. The range of activities that the club offer include everything from monthly meetings, social nights, drive-day tours and picnics, educational opportunities (such as technical visits to specialised workshops, driver education, maintenance and detailing). As a Motorsport Australia affiliated Sporting Club, MCCA also offers club level motor sport events to suit both beginners and more experienced drivers (including closed-circuit race track timed events, motorkhana and manoeuvrability trials, economy runs, etc.). Even though the club was primarily set up by and for Mazda owners and drivers, other non-Mazda owners and drivers are also very welcome to join the club and participate in all club activities.

A bit of very welcome summer rain didn't keep many away from Wednesday evening's West-side meet. From kids to retirees, it was great to meet those new to the club and to also catch up with the regulars!
