Major Changes to the Cheaper Home Battery Rebate!

The Government has announced a significant shake-up to the cheaper home battery program, and it could affect your savings.

Here’s the bottom line:

1. The rules are changing on May 1, 2026.

2. Before May 1, 2026: You can still get the FULL REBATE on a wide range of battery sizes.

3. From May 1, 2026: A new tiered system begins. While standard batteries (up to 14kWh) will still get good support, the subsidy for larger systems will be SLASHED.

- up to 14kWh will receive the full rebate
- 14–28kWh : Rebate drops to around 60%
- 28kWh+ : Rebate is heavily reduced (as low as 15%)

Don't miss out on thousands in savings! If you're thinking about getting a home battery, especially a larger one, the best time to act is NOW.
