Australian Filter Services many different industries not only in the Hunter Valley but also in the Tamworth, Dubbo, Sydney, Lithgow, Cambden, Newcastle, Bathurst, Orange & Canberra areas. The price of cleaning an air filter will usually be a third of the cost of buying a new filter and most filters can be cleaned up to 6 times. This will not only save you money in replacement and disposal costs bu

t will also lower your carbon footprint. AFS also offer free pick up and delivery in most areas with a weekly or fortnightly turn around depending on the area. All filters arriving at the AFS factory will be tested and checked, then cleaned, retested, bagged and ready for return to site.

🔍 Can You Spot the Problem?

At first glance, this filter looks serviceable but hidden within the filter media were several tiny tears that could allow dust and contaminants to bypass the filter and enter the engine. Even the smallest damage can lead to premature engine wear, reduced performance, and costly repairs.

This is why every filter that comes through Australian Filter Services undergoes extensive inspection and strict quality control by our highly trained team. When we identify a filter that is no longer safe to return to service, we fail it immediately and notify our customer. We then offer to organise a replacement filter, so their maintenance team isn't left one filter short.

You've seen his face. You've heard his name. But here's a little more about the man behind Australian Filter Services...

Meet Graeme – Owner, Director, Sales Manager, qualified mechanic, problem solver, and the driving force behind AFS.

While many people know Graeme as the bloke who turns up on site or answers the phone with a solution, there's a lot more to his story.

🔧 Qualified Mechanic with an engineering background, Graeme has always had a passion for understanding how things work—and more importantly, how to make them work better.

🏁 Before AFS, he spent five years in England, racing Ford Sierra Cosworths while working with professional race teams, leading vehicle maintenance and race car builds. Working in motorsport taught him that performance comes down to precision, reliability and attention to detail—values that still shape AFS today.

🌍 His career also saw him live and work throughout the UK and Europe, gaining hands-on experience across different industries, cultures and engineering environments.

⛏️ Back home, Graeme has built over 20 years of experience in the mining and earthmoving industries, giving him a genuine understanding of the pressures our customers face every single day.

🚗 Outside of work? If it has an engine, chances are Graeme is interested! He loves building, modifying and restoring vehicles back to their former glory, a hobby that perfectly reflects the AFS philosophy of giving quality products a second life.

What makes Graeme different isn't what's written on his business card.

It's the fact that he's been in the field.

He knows what it's like to be the mechanic chasing downtime, the operator relying on dependable equipment, and the maintenance teams working hard to keep production moving. That real-world experience means the solutions we provide aren't based on theory—they're built on decades of practical knowledge.

At Australian Filter Services, we know that every business has its own way of managing equipment. That's why we don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach.

Our customised filter labels are designed to make identifying, storing and reinstalling your filters as simple as possible, helping your team save time and reduce the chance of errors.

Your labels can include:
✅ Your own stock codes
✅ Machine numbers
✅ Registration (Rego) numbers
✅ Site locations
✅ Asset numbers
✅ Or any other information that makes life easier for your team.

It's another one of those little things we do that makes a big difference. Because getting your filters back clean is only part of the job,we also make sure they're organised and ready to go straight back into service.
