When life gives you pumpkin soup… sometimes it ends up all through the back seat.
This one came to us after a major pumpkin soup spill had worked its way deep into the rear seats, carpet, seat rails and every little crevice imaginable. Unfortunately once warm liquid seeps beneath trims and padding, the smell can become overwhelming very quickly.
The customer did everything possible to contain the mess before bringing the vehicle to us — including covering the affected areas with bicarb soda to absorb the moisture and odour. By the time we started, it honestly looked like Charlie Sheen had a weekend bender on the back seat. 😂
What followed was a solid 9-hour deep interior rescue mission involving:
• Full interior strip-down of affected areas
• Deep extraction cleaning
• Steam treatment to pe*****te hidden contamination
• Crevice flushing and sanitising
• Odour neutralisation treatments
• Multiple passes to fully eliminate the lingering smell
These are the jobs people don’t always see behind the scenes in professional detailing. Sometimes it’s not about making a car shiny — it’s about restoring comfort, hygiene and making the vehicle enjoyable to drive again.
