*Fun Fact - Did you know that currently in Australia, there is no set domestic standard for the term ‘organic’? This means that a product can be labelled ‘organic’ even if it has not been through organic certification or testing, and can contain as little as 2% organic ingredients for the word ‘organic’ to be allowed on product packaging!

The term ‘Certified Organic’ on packaging means a product has been through a strict certification process and has met the requirements of an approved certification standard. The only way to guarantee that your product is authentically organic is to look for a certification mark, such as the Australian Certified Organic ‘Bud’ logo on Organic products.

The ACO ensures a Certified Organic product has adhered to sustainable growing and manufacturing processes, is free from the use of any synthetic herbicides, pesticides and chemicals, and is free from any artificial additives and GMOs.
