That quote might look great—but is the person behind it actually licensed to do the job?
If you're planning to build or renovate, make sure their licence matches the work being quoted. Too often, people are given quotes for work the contractor isn’t properly licensed to carry out.
A quick search on the QBCC licensee register can show you if they’re licensed, what they’re licensed to do, and whether that licence is current.
