Thought I would give the latest update on my recovery.
Unfortunately I've developed frozen shoulder which has severely restricted my return to work.
Currently I'm unable to offer my services and don't have a definitive timeline on when I may return.

Saw the surgeon today for my 7 week check up, and unfortunately the news I've been dreading..I now have frozen shoulder. This is extremely disappointing, as I've been doing my exercises multi times per day.
Unfortunately this is going to mean an even lengthier and painful recovery.

Okay so it's 2 weeks since my shoulder op, and it's been a struggle with pain and lack of sleep.
Had my first physio therapy appointment yesterday and my range of movement is not quite where it should be, even though I've been doing my exercises 3 times a day.
Trying not to let it get me down, as even the physio said it was quite an involved surgery.
Get my bandages off today and looking forward to a proper shower.

Well the surgery was more involved than first thought, so it's going to be a tough recovery.Had infraspinatus tear, SLAP...

Well the surgery was more involved than first thought, so it's going to be a tough recovery.
Had infraspinatus tear, SLAP tear of biceps, bursitis and impingement. Surgeon said one of the worst impingements he'd seen and had to shave quite alot of bone away.
Pain is definitely up there atm, but hopefully each day will get better, and can start on some gentle therapy.
No driving for 6 weeks while in the sling full time, going to be some boring days ahead .

For those of you that I haven't seen recently or received an email, today I go in for a long awaited shoulder surgery. Been a hard decision to make, but hopeful it'll be for the best long-term. I'll be out of action for at least 3 mths, but available on phone if any issues arise.

Hi, hope everyone is doing well.
Just a heads up, some servicing may be delayed this week due to the impending cyclone. I'll endeavour to catch up as soon as possible but unfortunately conditions aren't the greatest for pool maintenance at the moment.
