Bear with me on this one, I was skeptical at first too.

Got a scuff or a scratch on some wooden furniture?
Rub it with a walnut (shell removed) to mask the damage.

I can confirm it works!
I tried this on many different scuff marks and different wood - a lot of walnuts were eaten in the process.

We all know pet hair is a real pain in a*** and the vacuum just doesn’t cut it!

Got any rubber gloves sitting under your sink??
Pop them on and rub them over your carpet in a circular motion and TA-DA, watch as it grabs all the pet hair and creates another pet for your home…🫤

Got Venetians? 😑 Tedious work

Here’s a couple easy ways to dust them without “special, expensive” tools.

Dust Blinds with Kitchen Tongs - Wrap one microfibre cloth around each arm of the tongs and secure them with rubber bands. Now you have a custom blind-cleaning tool. Simply clamp down on each slat and wipe from one side to the other, cleaning the top and bottom simultaneously.

Or

Use and old sock on your hand ✋ - I’m sure you can find a few odd socks lying around. (Especially if you have kids..) 🧦

Give your Microwave a Lemon Steam Bath 🍋 🛁

What you will need:
1 Lemon
A Microwave safe bowl
Water

Slice the lemon in half and squeeze the juice into the bowl of water. Why not drop the lemon halves in as well.
Microwave on high for 3-4 minutes, until the water is boiling and the microwave is filled with steam.
Let it sit for another 5 minutes with the door closed. Then, open the door and easily wipe away the grime with a cloth.

The steam will loosen all the exploded food, while the citric acid in the lemon acts as a natural degreasing agent and deodoriser, making it easy to wipe down.
