Bookkeeper/Accounts Manage Wanted for Small Business – Immediate Start!

We’re Euphoric Utopia, a friendly, family-run business based in Lithgow, and we’re looking for an experienced Bookkeeper with a solid background in Xero and payroll.

About the Role: At Euphoric Utopia, we value dedication and are keen to find someone who can bring our accounts up to speed. While Most of the reconciliations are sorted, needs to be checked, but payroll needs urgent attention. You'll start by getting our Xero file in order, setting up Xero ensuring everything is pristine and accountant-ready but most important for us to understand it— Due to some past challenges with previous bookkeepers and accountants there's about 18 months of catch-up needed, so we’re looking for someone ready to dive in quickly.

Who You Are:
• You have a solid background in bookkeeping, with hands-on experience in Xero and payroll complexities.

• Able to clean up accounts and prepare them for our accountant

• You're patient, understanding, and excellent at breaking down complex information into simple, digestible explanations.

• Strong communication skills to simplify the financial jargon for us

• You’re ready to roll up your sleeves and catch up on some overdue bookkeeping

What We Offer:

• Flexible Hours: Initially, we’ll need you for about 2-3 days a week to update our records, with the potential to transition to 1-2 days a week to keep it up to date. if you’re a good fit.

• Open to negotiation: Contractor preferred, but we’re happy to discuss wage options for the right person.

Now, for a sparkling bit of news - Rayleen and Teric are taking a small detour to the majestic Uluru for a Cleaning Business Owners Conference! We're on a outback quest with other fabulous and talented business owners from across Australia to bring back the holy grail of cleaning secrets! 🌄

We’ll be away gathering sparkles from the 10th to the 19th of April, ready to sprinkle them on our return to work on the 22nd. 🌟.

We're off to learn the latest in dust bunny banishing techniques and broomstick aerodynamics, so rest assured, we'll return even more equipped to keep your spaces sparkling!

Meanwhile, our dynamic duo, Indianna and Shanina, will be steering the ship, managing all cleans with the same sparkle and shine you've come to know and love.

It's that time of the year when the jingle bells are rockin', and our cleaning wizards at Euphoric Utopia are stocking... up on some well-deserved rest! We'll be wrapping up grime and spreading prime shine until the 22nd of December, after which we're taking a short holly-jolly hiatus.
