All wood heaters sold in Australia must be tested to Australian standards with an emission limit of 1.5 g/kg or less and a heating efficiency of 60% or greater. Certificates of compliance can be downloaded from the list of certified wood heaters in the table below.

With the weather cooling down, now is the perfect time to get your chimney cleaned.

Hot tip: don’t light your fire the night before getting us to come sweep and inspect it.

We’ve done a couple sweeps on heaters that were used the night before and let’s just say I’m very grateful we always wear gloves when cleaning them 🔥🙏🧹🏠

Every three years is how often we recommend you clean your solar panels.

If you’re next to a dirt road or your panels are flat, get them cleaned more often than that.

However never let them go longer than five years between cleans. Most of the panels we see, by that point, they start to get lichen growing on them and that’s a real issue for your panels.

Roof washing a metal Colorbond roof. Just a little test patch to show the effect after spraying our cleaning product on the roof and rinsing off with water. No pressure needed, just the cleaning product, sometimes a little scrub with a broom, and then hosing off

Bought some new toys from Window Cleaning World. These little 3D printed nozzles let us spray soft washing products with great accuracy. It’s funny the things you get excited by when you do stuff for a job!

I was hanging out with a friend last night and they were like you really need to up your social media game! They are very correct.

So, this is me upping my social media game 😅

You just get so busy running around finding work and cleaning stuff that you forget to post and remind people that yes, we are indeed an operational business whose doors are open and are very happy to take on new customers haha.

I know that when I go to choose a business for something like repairing my deck or choosing a new restaurant, I often make my choice based on seeing if they’ve posted online in the past month or so.

As such, I’ll be working on that!
