Something a lot of people don’t realise…

Mould doesn’t always start from leaks.

We’re seeing a lot of homes where it actually starts from dust buildup.

Dust sitting on:
• Skirting boards
• Ceiling fans
• Wardrobes
• Air vents

…contains organic material and can trap moisture from everyday living (showers, cooking, breathing).

Over time, this creates the perfect surface for mould to grow — especially in areas with low airflow.

That’s why we’re finding it in places people don’t expect, even in homes that are otherwise clean.

Common signs:
– Musty smells that don’t go away
– Dust building up quickly
– Small spots reappearing after cleaning

It’s usually not a big issue early on, but worth understanding what’s going on before it spreads further.
