Joint management works carried out across two small suburban blocks have delivered good results.

On the first night, approximately 40 rabbits were observed along with two foxes, all of which were removed.

During a second visit to the same property, only a single rabbit was sighted with thermal across a shift — demonstrating just how quickly an effective ground-shooting program can drastically reduce numbers when carried out correctly.

A further 183 rabbits were removed on the adjoining property that night, bringing the total across both locations to 223 rabbits removed.

We will be back to the program tonight after letting property rest for a night.

Back in to some urban works to finish the week, clearing out rabbits and two foxes from a local property.

Fx impact m4 put the hammer down on a large dog fox at 100 yards aswell as one other fox and 40 rabbits.

One of our clients was having ongoing issues with foxes targeting newborn lambs over the last week , so we prioritised the job and responded quickly.

27 foxes removed from the property.

Of those, 23 were actively lingering around lambing ewes waiting for newborns to drop.

Problems like this can become extremely costly for producers in a very short amount of time.

After several hours of monitoring activity along a dense creek line, we identified a small number of feral pigs that had established themselves in the area.

These animals had taken over existing wombat burrows and were actively utilising the natural cover, displacing native wildlife in the process.

With no further pig movement detected, we carried out a controlled removal of the two individuals present. As shown, their presence had already begun impacting local wombat habitat, highlighting how quickly feral species can disrupt native ecosystems.

We will be conducting further investigations over the coming weeks on adjoining properties to determine if we put an auto trap in the area.
