I would like to wish all my clients a safe and happy festive season. Thank you for supporting my small business once again this year (sorry it was cut short early)🎄

Update on my accident:
I had to go for a 2nd MRI last week. The original fracture and meniscus tear has healed slowly. Unfortunately it has shown a second fracture on the opposite side of my knee now and there's a lot of fluid.
I will now be on crutches again for 6 weeks and will have a 3rd MRI in February. At this stage I should be back at work by the end of March if all goes well🙏

I will give another update in February.

Update:
It's been a long 3 months of pain and frustration but I'm finally making slow, steady progress after my accident. Physiotherapy has started and is going well. We've finally got the build up of fluid in my knee and leg under control. In a few weeks I should be walking properly again and hopefully have a lot more movement in my knee once the ligaments loosen up. At this stage I'm on track to be starting work again in January 🙏

Hi everyone,
Due to a recent accident at work I have had to close my office earlier than I planned this year😥
I will now be spending the next 3 months resting and having rehabilitation on my knee.
I apologise for any inconvenience.
I will be looking forward to going back to work in January once I'm all healed.

Update:
Unfortunately the MRI was not the news I was hoping for. Now I know why I've been in so much pain, dragging my leg around trying to walk. I've made a mess of my left knee😥 My femur is broken, ligaments are sprained and there is a meniscus tear. I am now waiting to see an orthopaedic specialist to see what the next step is from here.
I am so sorry for the inconvenience and I will give you an update once I've seen the specialist.
I am keen to be back working as soon as possible.

Hello everyone,
I am so sorry but I am currently unable to work until further notice due to my knee injury. I will be taking it week by week at this stage.
The x-ray wasn't very helpful so I'm now having an MRI this weekend as my knee and leg are still swollen with fluid and I still can't walk on my left leg properly.
I will keep you updated next week after I get the results.
I am trying to stay positive and hoping for good news.
I am so sorry for the inconvenience.
I hope to be back working as soon as possible.

Yesterday was an interesting day at work! Our power ended up being down for nearly 12 hours. I arrived at a client's house in the morning to discover they were on the same line and there was still no power.
I ended up doing some improvisation to ensure that my client still came home to a clean home.
Good old fashioned way - sweep the floors with a broom and boil water on the stove to mop the floors🩷
