🏆🦸‍♀️ Eddie (my MINI) and I are Winners 🦸‍♀️🏆

🏆What a fantastic year! 1st place in both the Individual Road Registered and Individual Outright categories for the Inter Club Challenge Queensland (ICC).

🚗💨 The majority of my spare time is spent on the track, trackside, promoting events or recording for my podcast 🎧

I've enjoyed Chairing the ICC Queensland and making it the competition I was dedicated to competing in this year. Proud of my little Eddie, 2017 MINI Cooper 1.5L turbo, she's not the toughest and she might have two more doors than a typical racer should but she gets out there and does her best!! 🚗💨🏆🦸‍♀️🌸

I love animals and on this day I was decluttering and downsizing a shipping container on a farm. Horses, dogs, cats and these fluffy little chickens were all keen to know what was happening 🤗💗

🌟 Keeping Things Contained 🌟

You never know what someone is going through and as a Professional Organiser I regularly meet clients at the toughest times of their lives. 90% of the clients I work with are feeling overwhelmed, exhausted emotionally and physically and at a lose to know where and how to start on their journey to the peaceful, calm and happy life they desire. 🌸

🙏 Quite often clients are feeling shame, embarrassment and anxiety about having family or friends coming in to their homes and spaces, this is ten fold when it comes to a stranger. I always say there is nothing I'll see that will surprise/shock me or I won't be able to help you with. And it's true! My focus is on my client, listening to exactly what their goals and struggles are and then doing everything I can to make sure we achieve those goals!

📸 My lovely client wanted to document our process of decluttering this container (7m x 3m) she had been hiring for over 2 years, down to a 2m x 2m storage pod until she returned to Queensland. Some furniture had to be kept otherwise what was remaining at the end would have been able to be stored in a family members garage short term.

💰 Her goal was to reduce her monthly rental costs for storage, ⚘ start fresh in the next stage of her life and 🔗 lift the weight of the past off her shoulders. 🌟 So we got to work! 7 skip bins and 18 hours later, the container was empty and the new smaller, cheaper storage pod was ready to go.

The photos show us progressing through the container and moving things that were sentimental and irreplaceable to the smaller pod. With the last photo showing her seeing the back of the container for the first time and knowing we had done it! I was so proud of her strength and determination, and the joy, relief and positivity towards the future was showing on her face, in her words and her body language. 🤗🥳

We were so excited by the end that we forgot to take a photo of the empty container. She was more focused on calling the driver to pick it up and take it away!
