Are you keen on living a low tox life but find it daunting?
Not sure where to even start?
Then you get told try this or that and when you read the ingredients you still have no clue what half of them are and if you are really making a better choice than what you've used before?
We have been on this journey for over a decade and that is what it is, a journey. You need to find your happy place. Where you know the choice you made is the right one for your family, the environment, the budget because all of these factors play a role!
So while I was washing my hair I also cleaned the shower which is how this post popped into my head lol
I remember a time when I used to scrub the shower fully clothed because I did not want to get any of the chemicals on me! And I tried to scrub fast cause the smells from the cleaners in the cubicle seemed to go straight to my head.
Then I swapped them out for more so called 'healthy options' which I thought was great as I could scrub while my conditioner did its thing on my hair. But I still often ended up with a headache and exhausted as it was a big job that I didn't do as often as I probably should have. I mean this s**t needs to be planned right?
To now!
All I use is one item! No cleaning products at all other than water!
I can safely clean the shower while I have a shower. And man does that help with actually getting that dang job done! That sponge is hanging in the shower and I reuse it until it's wash day and then replace it for next time.
I just put together 4 items that do all the work with just water!
The small sponge I used in the shower as it has two sides. One scrubby one for those areas that need a bit extra and a soft one.
The netted cloth is all we use for washing dishes! And just with water! Crazy isn't it! Can you tell me how much you'd be saving on dishwashing liquid?!?! And no more sore dry hands either! And these cloths come in a 2 pack for only $28!!! We still have the ones I bought 4 years ago!
Then there is the enviro which is your everything cloth (bathroom, benches, windows....) which paired with the window cloth gives you fabulous clean windows.
So let this be the start or the next step on your journey. Send me a message and I can sort you out with the items that can make your life so much easier, cleaner and also work within your budget!! As we all know that often swapping to cleaner options means a bigger price tag, but it doesn't have to be.
