Dear our lovely clients, & to some of whom we call friends,

I wanted to take a moment to personally share some news with you. Hope has recently stepped into a new full-time role, and while this new chapter is exciting, it comes with some bittersweet news.

Unfortunately, the demands of this new position mean that Little Bit of Hope will no longer be able to continue offering cleaning services. This was not an easy decision, and it truly saddens us to have to say goodbye to something that has meant so much.

Getting to know each of you, caring for your homes, and being part of your routines has been such a joy and privilege. We are deeply grateful for the trust you placed in us, and we’ll carry the warmth of those connections always.

Thank you for your kindness, your loyalty, and for allowing Little Bit of Hope into your lives. You'll all be deeply missed.

It is days like today that make it so hard for tiny family businesses!

We try keep prices low for people because we know how hard life is these days - we genuinely want to help people out.

But today for instance Hope cleared out the day for a full bond clean, for a new client who got cancelled on last minute. Hope arrived only to have the door closed in her face.

There goes a whole day, a loss for the business in more ways then one.

This is why we have the booking fee in place and are going to be enforcing it here on out. M

Many other businesses keep your card details on file so if you cancel, a cancellation fee is charged to your card. We don't do that as we know card details and private information are very sensitive.

From this day forward ANY clean requires a $50 booking fee, which will be deducted from the total of your cleaning fee.

If you are to cancel 24 hours or LESS before your cleaning day, the $50 fee is NON refundable and NON transferable.

If you give us 48 hours or more notice - you can be refunded your $50 or transfer it to the total of your next clean.

This is compensation for lost time and not being able to recuperate any money by being able to book another clean last minute.

We understand that we may lose some of you, but we find it quite unfair that we show up for our job just to be turned away.

Thankyou for understanding, we endeavour to do the best job for you and your families and we appreciate every single one of you help support our tiny family business.

If you have any questions please just reach out, we are very reasonable people, and we cherish our regular clients dearly.

Please take care of one another and we look forward to bringing this year to an end with you all.

Here at Little bit of Hope we strive to be available for any client, with no job too big or small.
Unfortunately lately we have had a ALOT of VERY last minute cancellations, which has had a big impact on our small business.

With that we have had to make the decision to introduce a cancellation policy, to help us with the loss that comes with last minute changes.

We understand that life gets in the way sometimes, households get sick, bills come in at the wrong time, and finances get tight.

However we are just a small business, and it impacts us greatly to not have enough notice to be able to re-book somebody else into last minute cancellation spots.

We hope you understand, and we look forward to working with you on your future cleans, and organisation.
