🏆🏷️ ♿️ 93.7kg BREAD TAGS COLLECTED!!! This haul of 47.9K bread tags is added our previously collected 45.8KG. Wow, thank you so much everyone. How amazing to see what we can all achieve together!

We heard about Aussie Bread Tags for Wheelchairs from one of our bottle donors. We thought it was an easy way to help people and the environment and cost virtually nothing in time and money. We became an official collection point and shared it with our bottle network on 11 July 2019. If people could save their bottles for us, saving their bread tags should be easy enough. We were blown away by the support from the community and have collected from many local families, businesses and organisations. We know how long it takes to collect bread tags – of all the bread tags in this batch only the little round container is from our family.

AUSSIE BREAD TAGS FOR WHEELCHAIRS COLLECTING IS NOW CLOSED Recently we dropped off this last batch of bread tags to the central collection point nearest to us to make the next leg of the journey so they can ultimately be recycled to help fund wheelchairs for people in South Africa who can't afford them.

WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING BREAD TAGS BUT Lids4Kids Australia ARE. Check out their Lids4Kids – Zero Waste Warriors recycling program.
