Well, the time has come. The cleaning fairy aka the sh***er queen has retired the feather duster.
It's been 13yrs and 8months, I feel that's plenty of loos, ovens, walls,
kitchens, bathrooms and floors that have had the privilege of my loving.
I am ready to embark on my new next adventure. And that is and has been a huge learning curve. I have been self-employed for over 20yrs and I'm not going to lie it is as scary as hell. However, I am ready for the change.
I do want to thank some of the amazing clients that I have had. Starting as a domestic cleaner then branching into vacate cleaning. This is where I loved it most. Especially the juicy lucys (which you all seemed to love as well) It was most satisfying taking a dirty house and making it shine.
I want to say a special mention to Nicole Howard and Emma Mulcahy. These two ladies set the bar which helped me to set mine.

To all the managers over the years thank you for your business. But to the ladies and Rob with whom I have worked closely with for the last 5-6yrs an enormous thank you.

Another great result for Professional Property Plus Thornlie and another property cleaned by One Smart Clean.
This property was painted throughout and had had some cleaning from the tenants (not a feral clean at all) but painting does not clean the property
It doesn't clean the oven
It doesn't clean inside cupboards
It doesn't do air con vents and light fittings
It doesn't do toilets
And it doesn't do floors
Just because it's painted it doesn't clean the shower recess from mould and soap scum.
So if your selling or taking your home to the rental market... keep in mind about the clean 😉

This is not how you should leave your property even if you are hiring a cleaning contractor.
We expect all rubbish to be removed and if possible a quick vacuum. But when left like this you are charged the extra time it takes to clear so we can begin cleaning.

One smart clean is going on a holiday and we will be closed from the 10th of aug resuming Monday 29th of Aug. Sadly all availablity is now booked to the 10th but will look forward to seeing everyone on the other side. Oops Monday the 29th is booked 😂 it's been nearly 4 years since I have had a full 2weeks off. ☺️☺️

Well a happy Saturday to everyone...and it's a goodie. It's also a fantastic day to open your house right up and let that free fresh air do it's business.
I know I have had my heaters running but remember with moisture and heat comes mould. So a good airing of your home is important and hey on a day like this it's free 😜
