July 31st - Pink donut day today for us. Today is 9 years since we said good bye to our only daughter and only sister to our boys. She fought fiercely till the end. I miss her everyday, especially today. Today the messages come through from friends and family who know our story. Some years I work to keep my mind busy, other years I have the day off to reflect.

Today I’m working, but still stopped by donut king to buy pink donuts in memory of Rylea.

Missed but never forgotten.

A pic mum sent through this morning I love so much I had to share.

Never take life for granted, as you don’t know what curve balls could head your way.

A couple of 300mm storm pro pipes installed on this farm to make for easier, drier access to the paddocks, irrigation drains cleaned out and some clay around a trough that was in need of some love done today in Bundalaguah.

Wonder what’s on tomorrow ?🤔

Hope the weather stays kind to us so we can continue to pump out these jobs I thought would have been near impossible during winter 😁

New cattle yard foundation done today,
Our client (new client😁)scratched the area out and roughly spread out 6 truck and dogs of road base with his tractor and got us in to finish it off with the posi.

We had to cart in a further 100 tonnes of
Screened road base from Cowwarr Quarry (4 semi loads), spread it with correct fall, and rolled it ready for the early stages of new cattle yard construction.

Gave this road a tickle up in town today. Carted in 7 loads (84 tonne) screened road base from Cowwarr Quarry while legendary Wallaby Bob done his thing in the grader.
Scratched out the drains. Give it a good crown, rolled on completion and will be good for another couple of years.

Finished up at the bowls club today.
Screeded, watered and whacked in the new pathway ready for the synthetic grass to be laid.
The reason for this job was to stop disease from spreading onto the green from the shelters.

Local Bowls club today scraping out the grass between the shelted seats and greens in preparation for some 5mm crusher dust on Monday screeded out, watered and whacked in ready for some synthetic grass.
Was hoping to have this one done in the day but the tough old grass roots proved to be very difficult to scrape up 🤦‍♂️.

Will be back Monday to finish off.

Tank pad done today up in Seaton today. 100mm packing sand lasered, screeded out, whacked in, 4 x 10000 litre tanks put in place followed by 20mm washed aggregate, to eliminate erosion by the rain around the tanks 👌.

Some minor paddock crossing repairs at this farm before it gets wet again. A couple of loads (24t) of screened road base from the Cowwarr Quarry. Scratched out the mud with the baby digger, shaped and spread the material with the posi giving a good crown for the water to run off should keep this gateway/crossing much cleaner and drier for the cattle and tractors into the future.
