Looking after someone else often means there is a lot more to manage than people realise.
Appointments, meals, medications, transport, paperwork, household jobs and the everyday things that still need to be done at home.
For some family carers, the washing can become one more job that takes up a significant amount of time, particularly when there are larger loads such as bedding, doonas, towels and other bulky items.
Mum & Dad's can provide laundry support by washing, drying and folding items, helping take one practical job off the list.
For families supporting an NDIS participant, laundry support may also be relevant where the participant's laundry needs are related to their disability and the support meets their individual plan requirements.
Every person's circumstances are different, and we are always happy to have a conversation with participants, families, carers and support coordinators about the support required and whether our service may be suitable.
Sometimes having help with one household job can make the rest of the week a little more manageable.
