OK 100% lock it in everyone TC Alfred is going cross the SEQLD coast late Thursday into Friday! ***Share & Tag family & friends so they know*** I have done a large red circle to show you just how wide the wind field that's over 90kmhr up to 130kmhr. Alfred will start to track WEST tonight and keep going west across the coast and well inland until Saturday. He could intensify slightly just before landfall with destructive winds to 150kmhr on the western and southern side of the centre.
Very heavy rain and flooding is likely on the SEQLD Coast down into NENSW - NOTE a bulk of the heavy rain will be on the southern half of the system. Huge surf is expected to cause coastal erosion and inundation of the low lying foreshore especially on the high tide very early Friday morning.
