1. Make sure your car seals have no leaks!
2. Pace towels on the carpets and seats
3. Place 2 moisture cups in the car
4. Make sure you car is dry
5. If your aircon leaks, put towel underneath
6. If you have garage place a fan through the car to air it out.
What is mould?
Mould is a fungus that grows in damp, warm, and humid closed in environments like cars and houses
What does mould look like?
Mould can be white, grey, black, or green
black being mould spoor stains and CANNOT BE REMOVED
It can look like a stain and it may smell musty
How does mould grow?
Mould needs moisture and a food source like dust, dirt, or organic matter to grow
It reproduces by releasing microscopic spores into the air water or on wet surfaces
The spores can grow and spread when they land on damp surfaces
What are the risks of mould ?
Some moulds can cause allergic reactions and respiratory problems
A few moulds types can produce poisonous substances called mycotoxins that harm the human anatomy
Prolonged exposure to mould can increase the risk of headaches, eye and skin irritation, and respiratory issues SO PLEASE GUYS BE CAREFULL
How can you prevent mold growth?
Ensure your car as good ventilation to reduce moisture fan/blower/sunlight
Dry or suck out as much of the water as you can THIS WILL NOT PREVENT MOULD but slow it down until you can get a professionally cleaned.
