Tackle Mould with Safe, Eco-Friendly Solutions After the Cyclone. 🌧️💧   🌿

Cyclones bring moisture, and with that, mould can quickly appear in unexpected places like air conditioning units and bathroom exhaust fans. But don’t worry, we’ve got you covered with safe, eco-friendly solutions!

1️⃣ Ventilate well: Open doors and windows to allow air circulation and help dry out any moisture that could lead to mould growth.

2️⃣ Clean air conditioning units: Mould can easily form in your AC system. Make sure to clean the filters and other components regularly to keep your air fresh and safe.

3️⃣ Exhaust fans: Don’t forget about the bathroom! Mould can build up on exhaust fans due to damp conditions. Regular cleaning can prevent this from becoming a bigger problem.

Due to the weather conditions and power outages, we are unable to access products and equipment in our warehouse, and we’ve had limited contact with some of our staff members. As soon as we’re able to reconnect with our team and safely access the space, we will resume operations and prioritise services accordingly.

We understand that after severe weather events, cleaning and restoration are crucial. Our team will be ready to assist with post-storm cleaning, including deep cleaning, debris removal, and mould prevention. Once we’re fully operational, we’ll be here to help restore homes and businesses to a fresh, safe, and clean state.

🌧️ Rainy Season Alert: Protect Your Home from Mould!

With the recent rainy days, our homes are more vulnerable to moisture and, unfortunately, mould. Mould thrives in damp environments and can quickly become a problem if not addressed.

But don't worry! Here are some easy tips to keep your home fresh and mould-free:

🏠 How You Can Prevent Mould:

1. Ventilation is Key: Switch on the bathroom fan or open windows after a shower to help remove moisture. Fresh air circulation makes all the difference.

2. Keep Your Shower Products Elevated: Water can become trapped under and behind your shampoo and body wash bottles if left sitting on a solid surface. Use a soap dish or shower rack to keep things dry and let air circulate.

3. Frequent Towel & Bath Mat Washes: Wash your towels every two to three days, and don’t forget to clean your bath mats regularly. Microbiologists recommend it to prevent mould growth!

4. Watch for Damp Areas: Check for leaks or damp spots in corners, under sinks, and in basements.

5. Dehumidify: Consider using dehumidifiers in areas prone to moisture buildup.

6. Clean Regularly: Regular cleaning prevents mould from finding a foothold. Pay special attention to bathrooms, kitchens, and laundry areas.
