Well… this wasn’t the target species. 😅🐀

During one of our routine possum trap checks, we had an unexpected visitor — a rat decided to beat the possum to it!

It’s a good reminder that if rodents are active around the property, they’ll take advantage of available food sources and shelter pretty quickly, especially as the colder weather sets in across Tasmania. ❄️🏡

If you’re hearing scratching in the roof, noticing droppings, or seeing signs of activity around the home, now is the perfect time to organise a rodent inspection before winter really kicks in.

🐭 A mouse can fit through a gap the size of your pinky finger tip… and rats aren’t much bigger!

🐝 Double trouble! Brady attended this property to treat not one… but two active wasp nests. 😳

Wasp activity can increase quickly, especially when nests are established around eaves, sheds, roof voids, play areas, and outdoor entertaining spaces.

If you’re noticing increased wasp activity around the home, it’s always best to have nests treated sooner rather than later — particularly if children or pets are around.

⚠️ We don’t recommend DIY removal, as disturbing a nest can cause wasps to become defensive and aggressive. Hear that buzz? No go area. ❌
