History: In 1994 David Dummer launched a new service for cleaning and rejuvenating synthetic grass surfaces and 20 years on the business is stronger than ever. In June 2014 acquisition of the company was made by son in law and daughter John and Catherine Pearsall ensuring the company remains within the family unit continuing the proud tradition and quality service David provided to his valued customers over the last 20 years. David continues today providing ongoing support in a consultancy role to both John & Catherine. Synthetic Grass Cleaning Process: Synthetic Surfaces get tired. They get a build up of contaminants that form a crust on the surface. Moss and algae often develop on fibres, the spores of which lie dormant until activated by water. Surfaces are affected by other contaminants such as airborne pollutants, vegetation, animal waste, vermin etc. This leads to poor drainage and promotes the growth of unsightly (and slippery) algae and moss. The synthetic fibres also become compacted which reduces the "give", making the court harder to play on. Players also tend to slide more, creating an abrasive effect which causes more wear and damage to the synthetic grass surface. ASGC Systems has developed a unique system that thoroughly rejuvenates synthetic grass surfaces. The process uses a washing, brushing and rinsing action that has replaced the "High Pressure" cleaning technique. This system is used because it causes less wear and tear on the fibres while thoroughly removing crusting and deep down compacted contaminants. After contaminants are removed the carpet is brushed and new tennis court sand is applied to the desired level. A chemical treatment to inhibit moss and algae growth completes this unique process.
