From green to… well… green 🙃
Outdoor courts cop everything: moisture, shade, dirt, leaf matter and organic growth. Over time that green film starts taking over the playing surface, making it look tired and potentially reducing surface grip.
You can’t treat a sports court like a driveway.
So how do we clean them?
We take the slower, safer approach.
We begin with a softwash treatment using a low chemical application, applying just enough solution to start breaking down the mould, algae and organics without unnecessarily hammering the court surface.
Then comes the important bit…
**Patience.**
We allow the treatment time to work, rinse it down carefully, assess the surface and then repeat the process where needed.
Some areas may need multiple light applications and multiple passes rather than one aggressive hit.
Why?
Because high pressure can damage coatings, disturb the surface and leave you with a court that’s technically cleaner… but worse than when you started. 😬
Our process is more like:
Treat → dwell → rinse → inspect → repeat.
Slow and steady wins this one.
The result is a much cleaner playing surface while taking care of the coating underneath — exactly how a sports court should be cleaned.
